About the role
CARTERS Pukekohe is seeking a seasoned Account Manager to maintain existing relationships with Group Home customers and independent builders in the Pukekohe and surrounding Auckland South region.
The ideal candidate will have established relationships and connections in the local residential building community and will be highly regarded by customers as someone who adds value to their business as a trusted, knowledgeable and highly organised Account Manager who "does what you say you will do."
You'll have the autonomy and flexibility to manage your call cycle ensuring results driven engagements with customers on building sites while hunting new business opportunities through networking. You will also develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure we provide complete solutions and packages for customers.
You will be heavily involved in the entire sales process collaborating with internal teams around stock availability, delivery times and pricing to ensure customer needs are met and issues resolved in a timely manner. You will also drive the sales process through Frame and Truss Manufacturing from estimates through to production.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be a natural when it comes to customer service and sales as well as a true hunter. You will also possess the following qualities:
- Solid planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects on the go
- A proven sales and relationship management track record
