Job Description

This is a Part-Time (32 hours a week), Fixed-Term 6-month Contract role with a target start date of mid/late September 2025.

Our Accounting and Economics teams are passionate about teaching and are committed to providing best learning opportunities to Foundation Studies and pre-Foundation Studies students, while delivering the College’s vision and values.

Our students come from many places around the world to prepare for undergraduate programmes in one of our three partner universities in New Zealand. • Teaching Economics and Accounting and undertaking assessments and administrative responsibilities relating to your course

  • Undertaking research and inquiry to learn about the latest developments in Economics and Accounting as an academic area and applying them in your own teaching

  • Making positive contributions to the development of new innovative faculty resources for teaching and e-materials for student access.

Some of your key responsibilities outside of teaching will include:

  • Providing academic and pastoral oversight of students

  • Meeting with mentee students after reports are distributed and recording outcomes and actions in our Student Management System

  • Engaging with pastoral and academic systems

  • Elevating any issues with academic or pastoral issues through the Learner Success Team (who will in turn communicate with parents and agents)

  • Completing administrative tasks as required in relation to these responsibilities
