The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Controller to manage and oversee Accounts Receivable and Credit Control for our Domestic Debt at Gallagher Group Limited (GGL). In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring timely payments, maintaining strong customer relationships, and improving financial processes.
You’ll also:
- Manage the credit and collection process, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
- Accurately allocate payments, process journal entries, and manage customer account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Finance, and Order Management to resolve customer queries.
- Prepare Aged Debtor Reports and provide insights for management.
- Monitor and reconcile staff Visa transactions while providing training where necessary.
- Contribute to system and process improvements in SAP & Esker.
The Fit
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in Accounts, Credit Control, or Accounts Receivable.
- Experience working with SAP (or similar ERP systems).
- Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across the business.
- High attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve financial discrepancies.
- Professional & courteous communication skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Confidence in making decisions within defined guidelines.
