The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Controller to manage and oversee Accounts Receivable and Credit Control for our Domestic Debt at Gallagher Group Limited (GGL). In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring timely payments, maintaining strong customer relationships, and improving financial processes.

You’ll also:

  • Manage the credit and collection process, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
  • Accurately allocate payments, process journal entries, and manage customer account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Finance, and Order Management to resolve customer queries.
  • Prepare Aged Debtor Reports and provide insights for management.
  • Monitor and reconcile staff Visa transactions while providing training where necessary.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements in SAP & Esker.

The Fit

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in Accounts, Credit Control, or Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience working with SAP (or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across the business.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve financial discrepancies.
  • Professional & courteous communication skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Confidence in making decisions within defined guidelines.
