About the Role
As an Administration Team Lead, you will be responsible for team management, delivery, performance, and development. This role will also involve operational leadership, resource utilisation and coordinating planning, delivery, evaluation, stakeholder engagement and reporting across various programme areas. An ideal permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Administrator to step into.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. About you
You will be an experienced administrator with proven experience leading a team and ability to provide direction to team members by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Promotes strong collaboration and teamwork across all business units, acting as a role model and champion of Health New Zealand values.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or comparable experience
- Proven experience in team leadership and management, preferably in a public health context
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a public health service, or related field, business support/administration role
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
