Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are looking for a confident and proactive AM Despatcher to join our high-performing team at our Hamilton site. In this vital role, you’ll oversee morning despatch operations to ensure freight is delivered safely, on time, and with care. From coordinating fleet activity to managing driver compliance and engaging with key stakeholders, you’ll play a key part in delivering a seamless customer experience.

Ngā kawenga | Key responsibilities

• Manage morning despatch activities, vehicle scheduling and driver allocations
• Monitor driver logbooks and ensure regulatory and fatigue compliance
• Ensure freight is accurately manifested and loaded with correct documentation
• Liaise with warehouse, transport, and customer teams to resolve issues quickly
• Maintain accurate reporting, KPI tracking, and invoice processing

Ō pūkenga | What you’ll bring

• Experience in 3PL, logistics or supply chain operations (minimum 2 years)
• Strong knowledge of NZ transport rules and regulations
• Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, multi-customer environment
• Sound understanding of freight systems and inventory management (SAP experience a plus)
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
