The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Automation and Control Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our site's electrical control systems, including PLC programming, software maintenance, and electrical database management. You will also be required to provide technical support and advice to production and maintenance teams and participate in project planning and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain site electrical control systems, including PLC programming and software maintenance
Provide technical support and advice to production and maintenance teams
Participate in project planning and management
Maintain and improve electrical database systems and CAD drawings
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards
Collaborate with external suppliers and contractors
We're looking for someone with:
Registered Electrician with current practicing license
Experience in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
Experience in Scada platform (Ignition)
Experience with IFM IO Link platform Moneo
Computer literacy in MS Office and Eplan software
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
