As Queenstown Bakery's staff, you are the face of the business, serving customers in the bakery to our high standards.
- Prepare and bake a variety of products, including sourdough, pies, showcasing your expertise in traditional techniques.
- Execute baking tasks efficiently and consistently, maintaining the high standards we’re known for.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines that align with our commitment to quality.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the success of our small business
- Work independently during some shifts, demonstrating self-motivation and a high level of initiative.
- You will required to work in both location Queenstown and Winton including transportation of baking items from Winton to Queenstown
This is a full-time role with a guaranteed minimum 30 hours a week. Operating 7 days a week we have early starts with rostered shifts. The earliest shift begins at 3am.
$25-28 per hour depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a bakery or similar roles
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work during peak hours, including early morning, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
