Position Impact
You’ll be a driving force on projects, building bold consumer brands from the ground up, or breathing new life into our existing portfolio of category challengers across confectionery, toys, pet care and beyond. This is a role with room to grow and we’re seeking ambitious creatives who are passionate about great design for a global consumer audience.
Brand Development and Strategy
- Lead the creation and evolution of brand identities, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and target audience.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and leadership teams to define brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual language.
- Translate brand strategies into compelling designs across multiple touchpoints (packaging, digital, print, and retail).
- Ensure consistent and cohesive branding across all products and platforms.
Packaging Design
- Develop and execute innovative packaging concepts for new and existing products.
- Research trends in materials, packaging solutions, and consumer behavior to inform design solutions.
- Create mockups and prototypes to visualize packaging concepts for stakeholder presentations and approvals.
- Ensure packaging designs are practical, functional, and aligned with industry regulations (e.g., safety, environmental standards).
Creative Leadership
- Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers and freelancers to foster creative growth within the team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and project goals are met.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and production teams to ensure brand consistency and product feasibility.
Project and Process Management
- Oversee the design lifecycle, from concept to execution, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Manage timelines, external vendors or agencies, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Present design concepts and strategies to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth transitions from design to manufacturing.
Market Research and Trend Analysis
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design innovations, and consumer insights.
- Conduct competitive analysis and incorporate market research into design strategies.
- Identify new opportunities to elevate brand experiences through packaging and design innovation.
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in brand identity and packaging design, preferably in consumer goods or retail sectors.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
- Proven creative flair and ability to execute to a world-class standard.
- Strong understanding of print production, packaging materials, and design-to-production workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and market relevance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
