The Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Transformation Lead to join our Organisational Planning and Performance team on a full-time fixed term basis (24 months) (37.5 hours per week) in our Dunedin or Taieri, Balclutha, Palmerstown, Wanaka, Queenstown, Cromwell and Alexandra offices.
The purpose of this position is to support the hands-on implementation of collaborative improvement related to prioritised opportunities through recent internal and external reviews - to better enable the organisation to provide efficient and effective services across the Otago region.
As a Business Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Refreshing ORC's business improvement framework to ensure it is up to date and aligned with current priorities
- Operating across all departments, building strong relationships, credibility, and trust with all levels of the organisation
- Collaborating across the business to best align transformation goals with organisational performance and risk management
- Coaching and supporting managers and teams to adopt improvement mindsets, tools and behaviours
- Supporting the development of quality service performance measures, targets, and progress tracking

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
- 5 years' experience in a relevant business transformation role
- Experience implementing successful organisation-wide business change
- Experience reporting to an executive leadership team and board/committee and writing professional and engaging reports and other documents that are appropriate for the intended audience
- Excellent problem-solving and improvement facilitation skills
