Unitec is seeking a Casual Maths Lecturer to join our Learning and Achievement team. This role involves providing teaching support on an as-needed basis across a range of foundational and applied mathematics courses.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in mathematics across a range of levels and programmes.
- Support curriculum development and contribute to programme design and documentation.
- Collaborate with academic teams to ensure course content is relevant, inclusive, and aligned with learner needs.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.

- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Prior teaching experience at tertiary level, or strong industry experience with a genuine interest in education.
- Flexible, collaborative, and committed to supporting student success and equity in learning.
