There is an exciting opportunity to become an owner driver for Mainfreight Metro Christchurch!
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Safe loading, securing, and unloading of freight
- Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight, on time and damage free
- Ensuring your truck is maintained in immaculate condition
Job requirements:
- Current Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Transport service Licence (TSL)
- Forklift Licence (OSH)
- Dangerous goods license
- A positive attitude and a quick learner
- English proficient and excellent communication
- Appropriate finance with the ability to purchase an appropriate vehicle – there is currently a truck for sale from a previous owner driver
