Established in 1970, Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) (Te Whare Takiura o Manukau) has been serving ākonga, students and the communities of South Auckland for over fifty years. MIT is a Business Division of Te Pūkenga, bringing together on-the-job, campus and online vocational education. Together with 16 Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics and 9 Industry Training Organisation our purpose is learning with purpose helping New Zealand move to a vocational education system that puts ākonga, learners in the centre. As a Clinical Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of quality clinical/practice experiences for students of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Studies. Your responsibilities will include negotiating placements, coordinating activities, evaluating placements, recording/reporting, roster preparation, and providing administration support for operational activities of the Faculty.
You will need to be self-motivated with a positive attitude, have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills and enjoy working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
