ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to partner with the business, taking your stakeholders with your commercial value creation. Our Commercial Manager’s take a leadership focus on operational, financial and capital requirements across multiple teams and departments to enable the business to deliver on strategic objectives and critical areas of focus. This also includes oversight of assigned local finance functions, planning and forecasting and connects laterally across the group with wider centralised support functions.

ABOUT YOU
You’re a confident team player with 10+ years of commercial experience who understands the responsibilities of the company and has the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once. You will be most suited to the role if you:
  • Have outstanding people skills; you are a talented leader, mentor, coach, negotiator, resolver of conflict & enabler.
  • Are grounded in management and ideally have experience working in larger manufacturing/petrochem organisations.
  • Are able to see the bigger picture, communicate the company vision and achieve buy-in from all parties. While this role is responsible for the finance activities at the Kapuni site, taking a broader enterprise view is essential to achieve overall company objectives.
  • Can demonstrate financial acumen, analytical prowess and have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Have proven capability to cultivate and oversee new business opportunities – performance and results focused and delivery of strategic outcomes.
  • Have exceptional written, presentation and verbal communication abilities – able to lead with the Board and strategic negotiation.
  • Have a hands-on approach, analytical ability and courage to challenge the status quo.
  • Ideally hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
