TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs routine tasks in erecting and dismantling structures and facilities on building and construction sites
- Formwork , steel fixing and concrete installation
- Load and unload building and construction materials, tools equipment and transport them around building sites
- Spread and level soil, gravel, and sand on roads and driveways
- Cleaning and carrying out minor repairs on stormwater drains and canals
- Mix. Pour and spread materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar
- Ability to assist anyone on the construction site
- Assisting trade carpenters/foreman
- Assisting with setting out
- Assisting with finishing and formwork
- Assisting with concrete boxing
- Assisting with exterior cladding
- sites clean up
To be successful to this role, the candidates need to have the competence but not limited to the following:
- Being able to pass the health and criminal checks if required
- The candidate must be able to work in New Zealand lawfully
- Must be physically fit and reliable
- Must comply with resource management act with regard to noise and use disposal of chemicals
- must maintain a clean and tidy work area
- must pass drug, alcohol, medical and MOJ checks
- 5 years of verified experience will be required
