About the Role
We have an opening for a casual Midwife who has the flexibility to work on an as required basis. Forward planning and rostering will be available when covering roster gaps and planned leave; however, it will be important that you can sometimes work at short notice. Midwives with current roles in the region are welcome to apply.
The Motueka Maternity unit is a primary birthing and postnatal care unit with around 40-50 births a year and around 140 postnatal transfers from Nelson. The unit provides highly regarded postnatal care working in partnership with whānau and LMC - s to provide whānau centred care.
About the Team/Service/ Location

About you
You will be committed to women centred and culturally respectful care. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills. You will have the skills and experience to staff the unit on your own, as well as the ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the broader organisational health care objectives.
