Customer Assist Consultants are there to provide great customer experiences by having meaningful conversations with our customers to assist with debt repayments and aid recovery through positive and supportive actions, in the early stages of default.

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role  

This is a full-time role; Monday - Friday, operating between the hours of 10am and 6pm. 

We sat down with our Team Manager - who let us know the following about the role: 

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? 

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? 

This is a chance to join a great team and provide assistance to secured and unsecured customers in arrears, all while learning and growing. 

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity? 

The successful candidate will need to learn, grow, and help each other in order to achieve the Teams goals.   

What will success look like for the candidate in this role? 

Customers feel supported by you and the Bank by seeking to understand each Customer's unique circumstances to find solutions to get the Customer back on track and limit losses.  

What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? 

This role requires self-motivation and professionalism. To be successful you need to have high level communication skills, and be able to manage work with minimal supervision. The following experience is essential:
