About the Role
We're looking for a Customer Service & Retail Assistant / Kaiāwhina Kiritaki me te Hokohoko to join our passionate team. This is a hands-on role where you'll:
- Welcome and engage with visitors from around the world
- Manage bookings and provide exceptional customer service
- Support retail operations including merchandising, stock, and sales
- Assist with food & beverage service and kiosk operations
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment
- Work collaboratively with a diverse and inclusive team
- Embrace and support Ngāi Tahu values and te reo Māori
What You'll Bring
- Previous customer service experience (retail or hospitality preferred)
- Confidence using POS systems and multitasking under pressure
- A warm, friendly, and professional approach
- Willingness to learn and use te reo Māori
- Availability for night shifts (up to 2am), weekends, and public holidays
- Commitment to at least 1 year (permanent preferred)
