About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this position offers variety and involvement across all areas of the branch. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners.
- Assist and serve at the Trade Counter, and recommend suitable products tailored to our customers preferences.
- Manage Inwards Goods, including accurate receipting and system entry.
- Ensure products are well-organised and ready for dispatch.
- Monitor inventory levels, regular cycle counts and stock replenishment, rotating products to ensure optimal presentation.
- Support with delivery driving when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general housekeeping.
This is a permanent full-time role at our Cook St (Auckland CBD) branch, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.
About You:

- You will be upbeat, approachable, and deliver great service to everyone you meet.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (ideal but not essential).
- Work well in a team and enjoy collaborating with others.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Confident using technology and navigating multiple systems.
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Hold a Full NZ Class 1 drivers' licence.
