Demand Planner

Location: South Auckland, Auckland
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per annum.

About the Role
As a Demand Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring our products are available when and where they are needed. You will own the demand forecasting process, translating sales data, market trends, and stakeholder input into accurate and actionable plans. You'll collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess stock, while driving efficiency and supporting the company's growth in New Zealand.
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts
  • Analyze sales trends and inventory data to inform planning decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and key customers to align on demand and supply
  • Monitor and manage slow-moving or excess inventory
  • Prepare and present demand reporting to senior management
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives
Requirements for the Role
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in forecasting and planning software, Excel, and data analysis tools
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or Finance
  • Experience in FMCG or retail supply chains highly desirable
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
