Looking for an opportunity to support meaningful change? Inland Revenue is part way through delivering a learning programme to support our people to support New Zealanders and Māori customers through increased understanding of te ao Māori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi | The Treaty of Waitangi and how to work better with and for Māori. We’re looking for an experienced Change Manager to support and promote uptake of the learning.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a change management strategy and roadmap to support uptake of the learning being delivered
- Partner with internal Māori staff to ensure the change approach and all related engagement is approached with integrity
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for all change and engagement activities
- Support the development and implementation of a communications plan and content
- Monitor and report on engagement and effectiveness of the change approach.
- Success in this role requires comfort in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a small, high-performing team and in partnership with internal and external delivery partners.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience designing and leading behavioural change initiatives in a large, diverse organisation
- Understanding of te tiriti and how to apply that in your work
- Proven strategic thinking ability and a natural curiosity
- Expert communication skills that influence and facilitate positive change
- Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- An ability to plan, negotiate and manage priorities
