Job Description
The role
As a Driver you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection, treatment, and disposal of hazardous waste. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.
From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Must have a valid clean NZ Class 2 license with relevant driving experience
- A valid clean NZ Class 5 is also desirable but not required
- Relevant transport industry knowledge and experience
- Experience working with DG is preferred
- You will need to be physically fit and have ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
