We are looking for the right person to join our team – whether that is at a junior or senior level.

About the role

  • Provide relevant specialist consultancy services in the area of vegetation ecology, or other relevant specialist areas, actively undertake work in your specialist area.
  • Perform ecological surveys and inventories.
  • Develop and deliver vegetation or fauna management plans, identify assessments of environmental effects, and other relevant reports.
  • Provide pertinent ecological advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present expert evidence to the Environment Court (senior only).

What you will bring to the role (noting that a junior would not be expected to have all of these)

  • Degree or post-graduate degree in vegetation ecology.
  • Relevant professional experience.
  • Experience assessing ecological effects, ecological surveys, management and restoration of natural areas.
  • Proven project management skills: budgeting, client liaison, project setup, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proven leadership skills; a collegiate, team-player attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate on appropriate technical and commercial levels to a diverse range of current and potential clients.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Prior experience in a professional consultancy will be an advantage.
  • The ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • 4WD experience.
