AUT University is seeking to fill an English tutoring position at its English Language Centre. The Centre runs AUT's English language pathway programmes which are designed to bring international students up to the level of English language proficiency required for admission to the University's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

We are seeking a highly committed and experienced tutor for the Centre's academic and IELTS preparation programme. Each intake runs for a 12-week block and there are 3 intakes per year.

He kōrero mōu | About you

The successful candidate should have a degree in applied linguistics or equivalent, a recognised TESOL/TEFL/CELTA qualification and in particular, experience in teaching on IELTS preparation programmes. Preference will be given to candidates who have recent IELTS examining experience.
