Desired Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant to an executive role, with a proven track record of success
- Familiarity with supporting Boards and Board Committees, showcasing your understanding of governance processes
- Knowledge of governance principles, policies and a broad understanding of project management
- Exceptional ability to manage competing priorities and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Impeccable communication skills (written and verbal), ensuring clear and concise information delivery
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in digital communication tools and AI
- Mastery of BoardPro or other online governance tools
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work, every time
- Provide seamless administrative and confidential support to the Principal and the Board of Governors, ensuring the smooth execution of their duties
- Manage the School’s policies administration processes in line with the School’s Self Review Plan
- Manage all travel and accommodation arrangements for the Principal and Board of Governors and for staff attending PD outside of Auckland
- Manage three direct reports
- Maintain strong relationships with the School community
- Coordinate meeting and travel schedules, prepare agendas, and maintain organised documentation for effective communication
- Arrange meeting venues and catering requirements
- Attend meetings and take minutes
- Ensure the utmost confidentiality of sensitive information and documentation
