We're looking for an organised and detail-focused administrator to support a range of academic quality projects over the next 12 months. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, collaborative team working at the heart of academic governance and quality assurance.
Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities
You'll be supporting the Head of the Academic Office with a variety of tasks, including:
- Coordinating meetings, track action items, and manage project timelines
- Populate templates and forms accurately and critically
- Keeping records up to date and ensuring we meet regulatory and institutional requirements
- Working closely with academic and professional staff across the institution
- Support stakeholder communication: Draft emails, coordinate contributions, and liaise across teams as needed
- Contributing to ongoing improvements in how we manage academic quality processes
He kōrero mōu | About you
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in a university or education setting
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with data and digital systems (we use Microsoft Office and a few internal platforms)
- Someone who's proactive, reliable, and happy working both independently and as part of a team
