Forklift / Hold Bay Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift / Hold Bay Operator to join a busy production team in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone mechanically minded, physically fit, and safety-conscious.

Key Duties:

• Work in the hold bay, checking and sorting products
• Remove defective items and repalletise as needed
• Stack, bundle, and prepare products for dispatch
• Assist with strapping, wrapping, and moving goods
• Keep records updated by scanning or entering pallet card details
• Support the production team with general labouring tasks

• Follow all Health and Safety requirements

PPE (Protective Gear):

• Provided: safety boots, high-visibility clothing, ear muffs, and safety glasses

Requirements (must have):

• Current forklift licence (OSH certificate) - F Endorsement an advantage
• Proven forklift operating experience in a similar environment
• Mechanically minded and able to identify and report issues
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Legal working rights in NZ - No sponsorship
• 2 Current References
• Ability to pass pre employment checks

Pay:

• $25.00 per hour + 8% holiday pay
