Based in Port Chalmers, we require a Gantry Operator to safely lift and move empty logging truck trailers as part of our yard operations
The role involves ensuring competent and safe use of the Gantry in trailer lifting, effective communication during the lift and ensuring safety during all processes associated with the operation.
We're looking for a Gantry Operator to join our close-knit, high-performing team in Port Chalmers. This is a permanent position offering competitive pay rates and a guaranteed minimum number of hours each week.
Essential requirements for this positions are:
- A minimum full Class 1 licence
- Good attention to detail
- Have good communication skills
- A strong focus on Health and Safety
- A dedicated team player
- Have a positive and reliable attitude to work
Full training is provided to the successful applicant, with the opportunity for further up-skilling into other positions as they arise.
