We are seeking a dynamic Head of Business Partnering to lead our People Business Partnering team and drive impactful people strategies across our organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the GM of People, as the Head of Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our leaders to make confident, people-focused decisions that drive business success. You'll lead a high-performing team to deliver proactive, consistent, and impactful support across all aspects of people and performance.
Areas of focus and key outcomes will include empowering leaders to build capability, lead with confidence, and make sound decisions that drive performance. You will co-design and implement people plans and programmes, support leaders through change, and provide expert advice on people and performance matters. You will lead key people initiatives and help foster a culture of wellbeing, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and coach a high-performing team of People Business Partners.
- Coaching and advising leaders on resourcing, capability development, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Supporting change initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Overseeing ER matters, union relationships, and legal compliance.
- Driving core programmes in resourcing, leadership development, and wellbeing.
- Leading the annual performance and remuneration review processes.
About You
We are seeking a seasoned leader with a strong track record in driving strategic people initiatives and leading high-performing teams. With significant experience across the full spectrum of HR, your ability to think strategically, influence stakeholders and coach leaders will be key to your success in this role. A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred, along with a collaborative mindset and a passion for building leadership capability across the organisation.
