Join us as a Hirepool, Bitumen Based Products and Yard Manager in Whangārei. You’ll be a versatile team member who will be directly responsible for the management of stock and sales orientated revenue streams based out of the Whangārei yard, including:

• Establishing and operating an internal hire and stores facility, providing effective small plant, equipment and sundry materials support to our internal operational divisions.

• Oversee the stocking and manufacture of bitumen-based products (i.e. emulsion and cold mixes) and lead the sale of these products both internally and across Northland.

• Manage on site yard operations and maintenance tasks including but not limited to, waste management, weighbridge, security and line management to on-site yard staff.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Full class 1 license with forklift endorsement, class 2, 4 and W, T, R

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Strong administration skills and capable in all Microsoft suite applications

• Previous experience in managing stock and sales preferred

• Self-motivated, has a can-do attitude and is a team player

• Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks

• Good understanding of site safety and hazard management

• Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
