Job Description
Te āhua o te tūranga | The nature of the role
We’re on the lookout for an Integration & BI Developer to join our Wellington-based team on a parental leave cover contract. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be at the heart of our mission-critical Billing and CRM platforms, helping us deliver smarter, faster, and more intuitive solutions for our customers. You’ll be working across a hybrid tech environment, supporting everything from ETL processes and internal datastores to Salesforce development and enterprise data warehousing.
This isn’t just a coding gig – it’s a chance to be part of a tight-knit rōpū that values collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement. You’ll be contributing to BAU support, project work, and system enhancements, all while helping us build a more connected and data-driven future. If you love solving problems, streamlining systems, and making tech work for people, this could be your next big move.
Qualifications
Ko wai koe | About you
You’re someone who brings both technical depth and a collaborative spirit. Ideally, you’ve got 3+ years’ experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL programming, and web development technologies like ASP.NET and web services. You know your way around Microsoft BI tools and have supported Salesforce environments, including customisation, reporting, and API integration. Experience with data warehousing and report writing is a must.
If you’ve dabbled in Apex coding, physical database admin, or have knowledge of the electricity industry – ka pai! But don’t worry if you’re not ticking every box. What matters most is your mindset: you’re curious, proactive, and always looking for ways to improve. You’re a great communicator, a team player, and someone who takes ownership of your mahi. If this sounds like you, we’d love to kōrero.
