Morphum Environmental seeks a talented Intermediate engineer to join our Operations team!

What is the role?
As part of our Operations Team, you’ll work across a variety of projects supporting monitoring programmes, asset management, and construction site supervision. You’ll be hands-on in the field and office, helping ensure our projects run smoothly and deliver high-quality outcomes for clients and communities. This is a role with variety—no two days are the same—and you’ll collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and contractors.

About you
- You have a minimum of a Bachelor of Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent) and 4+ years of relevant experience.
- You are confident coordinating with contractors, clients, and team members, and can balance fieldwork with reporting and data management.
- You are fit for fieldwork and comfortable being in the field collecting data, sometimes by yourself or in remote areas.
- You hold strong environmental values and have a genuine passion for sustainability.
- You are committed to respecting and actively upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and are willing to continuously develop an appreciation of mātauranga Māori in relation to your role.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, interpersonal environment.
- You have excellent written skills and are confident in presenting to and collaborating with technical and non-technical audiences.
- You have experience in administrating contracts under NZS3910.
