About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Internal Sales / Storeperson to join our busy team at Vulcan’s Henderson site. This is a full-time, permanent role that blends internal sales support with hands-on warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities
- Process internal sales orders and prepare relevant documentation (e.g., packing slips)
- Respond to internal enquiries regarding stock availability and pricing (via email and phone)
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately
- Receipt and process incoming stock
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with stocktakes and cycle counts
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided if required)
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and well-organised
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, starting between 7:30–8:00am and finishing around 4:30–5:00pm (minimum 40 hours per week).
Requirements
- Current forklift licence
- Full Class 1 driver licence (Class 2 is a bonus)
- Experience with internal sales processes or order management
- Previous experience in warehousing, dispatch, or inventory control
- Intermediate level of computer literacy (ERP systems, Outlook, Excel)
- Physically fit – this is a hands-on role
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Team player with a good sense of humour
