Job Title: Lighting Installation Supervisor

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Lighting Installation Supervisor to join our team in New Zealand. This role involves supervising lighting installation projects at commercial and industrial sites. You will lead a small team, ensure work is completed safely and on time, and meet New Zealand building standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate lighting installation projects from start to finish
2. Read and understand technical plans and installation drawings
3. Manage installation teams and subcontractors on site
4. Ensure work meets safety standards and building regulations in New Zealand
5. Track project timelines and solve any issues that may come up
6. Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and suppliers
7. Keep records of job progress and report to management
8. Assist with ordering materials and planning work schedules
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. At least 2 years of relevant work experience in lighting installation or a similar field OR a Level 4 or above qualification in Construction, Engineering, or Electrical Technology
2. Strong leadership and team management skills
3. Ability to read and follow technical drawings
4. A strong focus on workplace safety and quality
