Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Delivery Manager to join our team in Tauranga for the successful delivery of the Tauranga City maintenance contract. Working in the Bay, you’ll lead a team of around 20 staff, overseeing routine and enhanced maintenance, annual resurfacing, and pavement renewals across the Tauranga City Council Road network. This contract requires close collaboration with Tauranga City Council and involves asset management, stakeholder and customer engagement, and the development and implementation of forward works programmes.
We’re looking for someone with in-depth expertise in road maintenance, pavement construction, and surfacing, who is committed to achieving long-term strategic results for both Fulton Hogan and our client.

What you’ll bring to the role:
Minimum 5 years relevant construction experience (including job and project management)
Proven leadership and management skills in operational settings
Competent user of Word, Excel, Project, JDE and other FH systems
Strong reporting skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of job pricing including materials, labour and plant and associated margin / profit calculations
Familiar with NZS 3910, 3917, Construction Contracts Act and other contract models as relevant
Full Class 1 driver’s licence
Experience working within an Alliance or collaborative contract teams would be an advantage
