About the Role
As the Manager Information Operations, you will lead a team of information management professionals to deliver services outlined in the Information Management Framework. You will work alongside other members of the broader information management team to uplift and support the information management maturity of the organisation and help all information users to meet their information management responsibilities.
Working closely with our Digital Services partners, you will ensure the deployed information management solutions meet compliance requirements and are fit for purpose. You will collaborate with other senior staff to support the development of guidance and training materials and the deployment of information assurance processes.
About the Team & Service
Our team of information management professionals are responsible for the compliant and effective management of Health NZ's information and records. Our role aims to raise the information management maturity of the organisation and seeks to influence this through the provision of services, advice, solutions and tools to help the organisation manage its information effectively. The team manages a hybrid collection of tools and services for digital and physical records, combining the modern workplace tools of M365 with a range of 3rd party tools to manage current and legacy records.
About you
As someone with a background in information management and operations, you will have experience developing and implementing consistent processes that support different management systems, alongside ten plus years working in information and records management, specifically knowledge and understanding of the Public Records Act, Information and Records Management Standard and the Health Information Privacy Code.
You will have:
- Significant experience in the design and delivery of information and records management services
- Significant experience leading diverse groups of people and influencing best practice
- Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint Online and other 3rd party records management tools
- Understanding of health service delivery and its interplay with key information and records management legislative instruments
