Opportunity Overview
As a Manufacturing Assembly Operator, you will play a hands-on role in assembling and testing high-precision optical and photonics products in a controlled, cleanroom environment. You’ll follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering drawings to build and inspect our innovative products—ensuring every unit meets the highest quality and performance standards.
- Assemble optical, laser, and photonic components using hand tools, jigs, microscopes, and documented instructions
- Unpack, clean, and prepare components and sub-assemblies for production
- Follow quality control processes, perform inspections, and report any issues or non-conformances
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to PPE and cleanroom protocols
- Prepare packaging materials and assist with final product handling
- Help improve processes, support production targets, and meet On-Time Delivery goals
- Complete daily timesheets and production records accurately

- A relevant diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1–2 years’ experience in an electronics manufacturing or assembly environment
- Solid understanding of electro-mechanical assembly practices
- Ability to interpret technical documentation such as BOMs, SOPs, and assembly drawings
- A high attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Motivation to contribute proactively to process improvements
