As our Marketing Coordinator, you’ll dive into a fast-paced, collaborative team that’s shaping how audiences engage with the country’s top news, lifestyle, and business content. HOW YOU’LL DO IT:
This role is all about smart execution, collaboration, and creativity:
- Campaign Execution: Support above and below the line marketing strategies — from crafting campaign briefs and media plans to delivering multi-channel activations across digital, OOH, social, radio, and more.
- Creative Partnerships: Work closely with the Brand team, editorial teams, and creative specialists to develop campaigns that elevate audience engagement and reflect brand personality.
- Content & Competitions: Support editorial initiatives, NZ Herald content series, commercial collaborations and manage promotional activity including competitions and product launches.
- Reporting & Insights: Track campaign performance, generate post-campaign analysis, and use data to optimise future activity.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Be the go-to coordinator across teams, keeping projects on time, on brand, and on point.
ABOUT YOU:
This is a junior level role. You're curious, creative, and have your finger on the pulse of the NZ media scene. You’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or similar, or experience in coordinating campaigns or working in busy marketing teams.
- Strong copywriting skills and a keen eye for detail.
- A flair for creativity and conceptual thinking, bonus points for design knowledge!
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, you’re confident collaborating with everyone from creatives to content editors.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- An audience-first mindset, with a willingness to explore data and trends to guide decisions.
- Adaptability to new platforms and technologies (including A.I tools), and the drive to continue growing in your career.
