About the Role
Reporting to the National Manager Health Technology: Deployment and Delivery, the National Fleet Programme Manager - Health Technology Deployment and Delivery role has a National focus in designing and enabling the deployment and delivery of fleet-based clinical equipment initiatives across Districts and Regions, in conjunction with the Regional Delivery Managers.
The Fleet initiatives identified can vary from less complex regional fleets to complex integration of National Fleets of clinical equipment with co –dependencies involving multiple stakeholders. There is an expectation to provide significant thought leadership in this national “green fields” opportunity through leading and influencing change and managing complex, high-value programmes of work across multi-disciplinary teams.
About the Team/Service/ Location
This function works closely with internal staff members of Health Technology Management (HTM), HTM Planning and Administration, national, regional and local clinical groups, other portfolios including Finance Enterprise Capital Investment, Data Services (DS) and Infrastructure and Investment (IIG), Procurement, Supply Chain and Clinical Product Management to lead and oversee delivery of the clinical equipment capital plan.
This role is open to candidates across New Zealand.
About you
You're a strategic thinker with a proven track record in crafting high-value business cases and delivering innovative fleet solutions in complex, regulated environments. Known for your ability to navigate ambiguity and influence across all organisational levels, you lead with confidence, communicate with clarity, and consistently deliver quality outcomes under pressure.
We are also looking for someone to draw on clear programme and project delivery experience in varied environments, with an emphasis on health, across 10+ years, including:
- Degree in a relevant field e.g. health science, clinical engineering, business, logistics, procurement or equivalent level of related practical experience
- Graduate qualification or a certification in a relevant field e.g. Prince2/PMP, and/or equivalent level of practical clinical, clinical engineering, business, technology or project experience
- Project and Programme Management delivery experience at a senior level
- Minimum 8 years' experience preferably in a health technology related environment e.g. clinical, clinical engineering, procurement or clinical equipment project delivery, within a leadership and staff management role, initiating and managing Health Technologies i.e. medical equipment projects to deliver and deploy to agreed equipment programmes
- A strong working knowledge of procurement and how this enables project delivery
