NETWORK SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR | FULL-TIME | NEAR CHRISTCHURCH AIRPORT
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Network Support Operator. If you’re a natural problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly — this could be the role for you!
ABOUT THE ROLE
You'll work as part of a close-knit team in our newly established Network Support Centre (NSC), helping to monitor and support linehaul operations in real time. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role where you'll lead overnight communication with internal and external stakeholders. NSC will co-ordinate solutions for network disruptions, provide administration and reporting and support the Health and Safety and well-being of our team operating overnight.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring live operations and tracking systems (e.g. Eroad, Flight Radar)
- Identifying and escalating delays, disruptions, and compliance risks
- Communicating clearly with drivers, branches, and leadership
- Supporting health & safety reporting and administrative compliance
- Recording and analysing operational data and KPIs
- Helping coordinate recovery actions using internal and external transport resources
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with rotating night shifts: 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM, 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM, and 2:00 AM – 9:00 AM. A standard week is 35 hours, but overtime is required to cover leave and absences.
ABOUT YOU
- Comfortable working night shifts and able to adapt to changing hours
- Ability to multitask , organised, and highly reliable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with confidence using tracking/reporting systems
- Proactive, with good judgement and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or operations (preferred)
- Health & safety aware and compliance minded
- Clean MOJ check and able to pass a pre-employment drug test
