Te Whānau o Waipareira is seeking Nursing Support Workers to join our kaupapa-driven team at WaiHealth Clinic. This role is about delivering safe, efficient, and culturally responsive care from a Whānau Ora perspective. You will work in a primary care setting to support whānau wellbeing, promote healthy living, and ensure medication compliance, while providing expert care with a strong focus on health equity and cold chain management.

This is an Fixed-Term Full-Time opportunity to make a real difference for whānau while being part of a supportive, innovative, and tikanga-based workplace.

He aha āu mahi | What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide efficient assistance to nursing staff, including supplies management and clinic set-up.
  • Supporting whānau with navigation, access to care services, and advocacy across primary and secondary health providers.
  • Promoting wellness, healthy living, and medication compliance to reduce hospitalisation risks.
  • Supporting integrated service delivery in line with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Waipareira values.
  • Documenting, reporting, and ensuring quality service delivery.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | What You’ll Bring
  • Level 4 Healthcare Assistant or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively
  • 5+ years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across services.
  • IT literacy and sound time management.
  • A full New Zealand Drivers License is desired.
