Are you a proactive, people-focused team player who enjoys creating a thriving office environment? Powerco is looking for an Office Manager to support the smooth daily operations of our Palmerston North and Whanganui offices. You’ll be the go-to person on-site, ensuring everything runs efficiently, from SAP processes and system support to visitor experience and event logistics.
This role also supports the Corporate Services and Property and Fleet teams to deliver core functions that help our people do their best work, every day. You’ll work closely with the Workplace Manager to enhance office efficiency, provide a consistent presence across offices, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in office management or a similar role, ideally within a large office environment
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with a love of problem solving and process improvement
- Strong customer service and people skills, with the ability to work with all types of people
- Tech-savviness, including SAP proficiency and general Microsoft Office skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, organise events, and coordinate logistics
- Confidence in embracing change and helping others adapt
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading office culture initiatives and creating a positive workspace
- Coordinating office communications, inductions, and visitor experience
- Managing office procurement, vendor forms, SAP codes, purchase orders, and invoice processes
- Supporting Workplace, Facilities, and Fleet teams with local logistics and projects
- Championing health, safety, security, and sustainability on-site
