This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week.

The remuneration range for this role is $78,170 to $105,760 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.

The opportunity

As an Operations Technician you will carry out the day-to-day operations that result in the production and delivery of potable water. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to continue learning, training and develop a career in the progressive water sector. You will be supported by a great team who are passionate about what they do. This position comes with a vehicle and is part of an on-call roster.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Ideally experience in treatment plant operations or a similar industry
  • Exposure to working on an on-call roster or shift basis
  • A working history in a collective and collaborative environment
  • An ability to be adaptable to varying tasks and priorities
  • A full New Zealand driver's licence

It would be advantageous to have a National Certificate in water treatment, National Diploma in water treatment or mechanical/electrical trade experience.
