Pae Tukutuku (Team member) Māori Land Court, Ministry of Justice – Whanganui

Te Haeata/The Opportunity

Pae Tukutuku mahi is multi-disciplinary and includes the provision of client advisory services, court registry services, case management, land registry services and judicial support services.

Our team members are responsible for processing Māori Land Court applications from end to end (from giving pre-application advice through to completion). In carrying out this mahi you will be making a positive impact on people's lives, and the lives of their future generations.

The work is challenging and varied, and the environment is interesting and supportive. The role is primarily office based but there are opportunities to work throughout the Aotea district.

There is a permanent full-time position available at the Aotea Māori Land Court based in Whanganui.

  • a good general knowledge of, and respect for, tikanga Māori and a commitment to further develop your knowledge of Te Reo Māori
  • the ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Utu ā-tau/Salary

The appointing salary for this role will be between $59,729 - $80,794 based on skills and experience.
