About the Role

The key purpose of the role is to manage and book patients from waiting lists effectively and within the required timeframes and clinical priority, while ensuring the needs of the organisation, patients and clinicians are met professionally and effectively.

About the Team/Service/ Location

You will join a team of 25 dedicated specialty administrators and work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team. Accurate and efficient data entry is essential, along with a methodical and structured approach to your working style. Previous employment history of excellent customer service with ability to build strong working relationships. Working autonomously but also well in a team environment, you will also need to have a creative approach to problem solving, ability to learn quickly and a good understanding of the importance of teamwork.

About you

As a Patient Scheduling Administrator, you will need:

  • A strong methodical approach to your day-to-day work
  • The ability to build and maintain good working relationships
  • A sense of ownership of your work, but also knowing when to ask for help
  • A willingness to constantly learn and teach in this ever-changing environment
  • Preferably some experience with our patient management system (webpas) would be beneficial.
