Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As a Product Manager, you’ll be part of the team managing Westpac’s suite of banking products. Day to day you’ll focus on the customer experience while managing the end-to-end aspects of delivery of Merchant Payment products to market including strategic planning, business analysis, financial performance, pricing, risk management, governance, and stakeholder management.
We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, loves to take the lead and is comfortable working collaboratively in cross functional teams. You must be an excellent communicator and will ideally come from a background in financial services.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
  • 4+ years’ previous experience in a product management role.
  • Experience working in the professional services industry (Banking, Risk, Fund Management and/or Investment would be advantageous).
  • Proven innovation management skills, with the ability to bring creative ideas of others to life.
  • Product delivery experience is essential.
  • Proven experience & ability to lead and deliver strategy and business outcomes in a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L.
  • A growth mindset with the ability to drive change through a large organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to guide individuals to a fast and effective outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
