We are looking for a Project Engineer to join the Gisborne team. In this role you will be responsible for all engineering matters relating to the safe, efficient and productive delivery of work to complete the job. Delivering good work ensures the long-term success and profitability of our business. Our values will drive everything you do
In addition to the above you will:
Lead the project teams in the successful execution and delivery of the construction projects
Accountable for the day to day running of the project site and progress of works
Manage documentation required for project records and administration is completed accurately and within required time frames
Prepare correspondence/programming and cost estimates

We're looking for someone with:
Appropriate tertiary level qualifications - ie Bachelor of Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
3 years’ experience in project delivery across mid to large-scale roading projects in civil construction
Experience and knowledge within civil contracting and of the contracting business
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer
Full class 1 driver's license
Working knowledge of current and relevant legislation
Knowledge of underlying engineering principles that represent good practice with NZ Civil
