About this role:
We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Technical Delivery team in the EPMO.
The role is about supporting our Project Managers to deliver capital projects for our Open Spaces team such as sports parks, carparks, walkways, boat ramps, sports courts, playgrounds and skateparks. Or for our Facilities team, offices, libraries and community hubs, hall upgrades, and public toilets. Or our Transport team, delivering urban road upgrades, bridge and culvert replacements, and road rehabilitation projects.
What I do?
You will work closely with our team of Project Managers to arrange design and consenting, prepare tender documents for construction, be part of the tender evaluation team assessing tenders, award, and manage construction contracts through to completion.
You will add value to the organisation by delivering on our promises to our communities, to deliver the infrastructure they need to live, thrive, and connect.
What I bring?
- You have a tertiary degree in engineering.
- You have at least five years' experience in engineering, or three years in an engineering role with complex environments.
- You understand the delivery of infrastructure assets in a Local Government environment, or have delivered Local Government assets in the contracting world.
- You have extensive experience in contract management.
- You are a team player and have great people skills.
