At Lion, we don’t just brew exceptional beverages – we create experiences that bring people together. The Pride is home to some of Aotearoa’s most iconic drinks, and right now, we’re on the lookout for a Raw Materials and Process Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting production and raw material coordination. If you’re someone who thrives on variety, can juggle competing priorities with ease, and loves solving problems on the go – this could be your next big move.

If you’re passionate, curious, and ready to learn, we’d love to hear from you!

Please note, this role rotates between afternoon (2pm – 10pm) and night (10pm – 6am) shifts.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Keep our stock in check through accurate receipting, regular stock takes, and the return of ingredients
  • Drive safety by following material handling procedures and keeping SDS, CoA, and PIF records accurate and up to date
  • Support production by pre-picking ingredients accurately and proactively flagging stock shortages
  • Own quality by ensuring storage conditions meet requirements, identifying ageing stock, and following shelf-life extension processes
  • Help maintain product quality through checks and adherence to quality systems
  • Provide critical cover for the Raw Material Coordinator during leave periods.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, operational or production environment
  • Exposure to inwards goods, raw materials or quality testing – bonus points if you’ve worked with chemicals or dangerous goods
  • A Forkhoist licence (or willingness to obtain one)
  • You’ll need to be comfortable with some manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Strong learning agility with the ability to quickly pick things up and run with them
  • Attention to detail, time management and task prioritisation skills
  • Tech savviness, experience with SAP is highly regarded!
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed

What You’ll Get in Return:

  • Growth on Tap – We invest in our people with 40% of roles filled internally
  • Hunt as a Pride – A supportive team that works together and wins together
  • Unleash Your Potential – Access tools, training and support to grow your career (and yourself)
  • Employee Product Allowance – Enjoy some of our awesome products, on us!

Not sure if you tick every box?

If you’re excited by the role and believe in our values, we encourage you to apply. We’re excited to hear what you bring to the table and how you can contribute to the team.

We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and leveraging unique perspectives to innovate and grow.
