Join our team as a Resource Consents Planner, where you'll play a vital role in shaping Napier’s urban development and ensuring responsible land use. In this dynamic position, you'll manage resource consents, provide expert guidance on land use and planning regulations, and ensure compliance with the District Plan and the Resource Management Act. You’ll collaborate with property owners, developers, legal professionals, and Council teams to deliver sound planning solutions that balance growth with sustainability.

As part of our Regulatory Solutions team, you’ll contribute to the review and enforcement of the District Plan, helping Napier evolve while preserving its unique character. Your work will involve assessing applications, monitoring compliance, resolving planning conflicts, and assisting with policy development. If you're a skilled planner with strong technical expertise and a passion for building sustainable communities, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

This is a permanent, full time position working 40 hours a week in Napier CBD. The pay range for this role is $80,000-$95,000 (including Kiwisaver) per annum, depending on skills and experience.
