An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced assistant manager to join our Rangiora retail team. In this role, you will oversee the smooth running of our Rangiora Retail Store. You will be working Monday and Tuesday 8:30am-5pm, and Wednesday 8:30am-1pm a total of 20 hours per week.
Ideally you will also be available to cover for the Store Manager on other days of the week, if required. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Supporting store manager in operations and achieving the shop’s revenue targets
- Sorting donations and restocking shelves
- Maintaining store displays and cleanliness
- Collaborating with the manager to price goods appropriately
- Encouraging and supporting exceptional customer service
- Leading and motivating volunteers
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in retail and interest in second-hand goods
- Ability to lead and motivate volunteers
- Customer focused with a "can-do" attitude
- Organised with an eye for detail
- Great interpersonal skills
